13 Years in Savannah

This month marks 13 years since we moved from Boston to Savannah. It feels like a lifetime ago. Archer wasn’t even two and Theo had yet to exist ;) Ever since my college days in Atlanta, I’ve sought to embrace place and rootedness. Although Savannah has her challenges (and life sure does know how to throw curveballs) my love for Savannah only continues to grow.

When I first moved here, I had a brief stint working as a manager for the Gryphon Tea Room owned by SCAD. I remember being enamored by the Hostess City, but I also knew she was a work in progress. I’m so proud to call Savannah home. And I know my kids are too. It’s an honor and a joy being host to this city for so many guests with Kindred Airbnbs. And such a gift with real estate that I get to help so many people to find their place and fall in love with this city like I have.

Thirteen years later, Savannah isn’t just the place we moved to, It’s home…and I’m so grateful for the privilege of helping others make a home here too.
