The space

The cottage is available for stays of 30 days or longer and is set up to feel like a real home rather than a temporary rental. The living room is comfortable and colorful, with original hardwood floors, plenty of natural light, and a mix of classic and eclectic furnishings. There’s a dining area for meals or working, and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for settling in and cooking at home.

Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished, and the home has in-unit laundry, making it easy to stay for a month or more without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The bathroom boasts double shower heads.

A Little Space to Slow Down

One of the things that makes The Solace Cottage different is the dedicated wellness room. This quiet space has its own private sauna, weights and yoga mats, giving you a place to stretch, relax, read, meditate, or simply take a little time for yourself.

Savannah is a great city to explore, but this is also a home where you can slow down and have some quiet.

Outside, the covered front porch is a great spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. The private backyard gives you another place to relax, with comfortable seating and a fire pit for cooler evenings.

The Location

The cottage is in the Thomas Square District, one of Savannah’s most walkable and interesting residential neighborhoods. Forsyth Park is just minutes away, along with restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops.

You’re close enough to easily enjoy downtown Savannah, but far enough from the busiest tourist areas to experience the city more like a local.

The Solace Cottage works particularly well for guests who need a furnished home in Savannah for a month or longer. Whether you’re relocating, working in the city, renovating your own home, between houses, or simply looking for an extended stay in Savannah, the cottage gives you the comfort and functionality of a home with a few extras you don’t usually find in a furnished rental.

Come home, make dinner, take a sauna, do a little yoga, sit around the fire, and settle into Savannah at your own pace.

The Thomas Square District is just south of Historic downtown. Your home is located on a quiet side street, yet close to all several great restaurants, cafes and Savannah attractions. You're just a 10-minute walk to Forsyth Park.

Other things to note

Starter Supplies: We provide a starter supply to get you settled in, including specialty coffee from Kindred SAV, sugar, creamers, and all linens. The bathroom is supplied with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in dispensers in the showers for the beginning of your stay.

Entertainment: The smart TV is equipped with YouTubeTV. You are also welcome to log into your personal streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc.).
